Welcome!

Congratulations on taking the next step in developing your business!  Websites are an important component to developing your professional identity and can often be the safest way for a potential client to check you out.  This is an opportunity to educate people about who you are, what motivates you, and most importantly how you can contribute to their wellbeing.

Ok, I'm here.  What do I do?

By now you've had a discovery meeting with Evie where you have discussed the basics of what you want.  You were given homework to do in preparation for building the website.  Below are forms that make this homework as easy as possible.  All you need to do is check out each form, see what is needed, then complete and submit the form when you are ready.  You need to fully complete a form before submitting as there is no way to save as you go (yet). But you don't need to complete the forms all at once.  Simply work through them one at a time, at your own pace, remembering that Evie will start after all your forms are submitted.  It's that simple - Evie will make the rest magically happen in the background!

What do I need?

To write the text all you need is just a thorough knowledge of who you are and what your business is about.  If you want to quote statistics then you may need to have references but that is it, unless you have something special in mind.  

 

You will also need to source imagery.  They can come from your personal library of images or you can source from the internet.  Below are two websites that have royalty-free images.

 

Both websites have a free and paid component.  If you choose an image that requires payment this will be added to your bill at cost price.

 

I prefer if you provide the link for the image you would like so that I may download the right format for your needs.

If you have chosen to include testimonials include them here.  There are six spaces but you don't need to have that many.  I recommend at lest three to be effective.

When it comes to listing the author of each testimonial, just use the name that you want displayed.  This may take the form of a full name accompanied by an occupation or age, or it could be just a first name, or it could be a pseudonym.

If you have images of each person (either real or fake), add them as part of the imagery labelled as the author.
